CD-ACCESS
CD-ACCESS
is an economical, simple means of integrating popular ad affordable CD-ROM jukeboxes, tower and minichangers into Ethernet network environments.
Just plug the CD-ROM storage device into CD-ACCESS' SCSI-2 port, then attach the networks Ethernet cable to CD-ACCESS' 10BASE-T or AUI connector. The CD-ROM devices now appear as, and may be accessed just like, another file server. There is no software to add and no network downtime.
All directories, file names and recently used files reside in CD-ACCESS' hard disk cache, where they are available for immediate access. Caching eliminates the need to retrieve individual discs for basic file information.
